Season 2 features over $3,900 in prizes for competing teams from OCZ Technology & CEVO. As usual, all teams will be able to reserve premium quality game servers for their matches, courtesy of NuclearFallout. Registration for CEVO Team Fortress 2 Season 2 will open on Thursday, July 31st at midnight and remain open until Sunday, August 24th at midnight. and best of all... CEVO is excited to announce that Season 2 will be completely FREE for ALL players. Event Details: The event will consist of two skill divisions, Amateur (CEVO-A), and Professional (CEVO-P). The Amateur Division (CEVO-A) is open to any team and FREE to all participants. It is divided into three conferences: Atlantic, Central, and Pacific. Teams will be competing for over $1600 in prizes. There will be one match per week in this division and the Match Deadline Day is Thursday of each week. 1st Place- 6x 4 GB OCZ DDR2 PC2-6400 Fatal1ty Edition Dual Channel ($899.88 value) 2nd Place - 6x 2 GB OCZ DDR2 PC2-8500 Fatal1ty Edition Dual Channel ($449.94 value) 3rd Place - 6x OCZ Vendetta 2 CPU Cooler ($299.94 value) The amateur division is designed specifically for new and experienced teams seeking serious competitive play. The Professional Division (CEVO-P) will consist of the 16 most talented teams in North America, as determined by our Professional Placement Tournament or earned incumbency from other CEVO events. The Professional Division has only one National Region. Teams will be competing for over $2300 in prizes.
