Martin "mintR" Rödjer and Rickard "zEm" Intveld have been released from the fnatic Call of Duty 4 team. Joe Miller, fnatic's General Manager, cited the removal of the players as a lack of results in recent tournaments. The team placed a disappointing 9-12th at the i34 event. "The Fnatic Call of Duty 4 team have been close to me since we first picked them up. However, after the teams recent slumps at AEF, TEX and i34 meant it was time for a change." Poor results are never the only reason for the release of players. Daniel "tidde" Asp goes on to say that the team was beginning to separate. "We've been feeling that over the weeks we've been splitting up as a team and divided into groups. Both zEm and mintR are extremely talented but nevertheless we had to make a hard decision to let them go." There is currently no word on who the team will pick up in place of the departed players. The fnatic CoD4 lineup is as follows: Daniel "tidde" Asp Marcus "odyxz" Nilsson Johan "LINQAN" LindqvistSource: fnatic |
