1) Applied Weaponology’s Modern Warfare Tournament Applied Weaponology was founded in February of 2008. As a new clan in the Call Of duty gaming arena, Applied Weaponology has had the task of getting our name out there. With thousands of gaming servers out there to choose from, you have to work pretty hard to set yourself apart from others. You have to use quality 64 bit servers, And you have to provide a fun,no bashing/namecalling competitive atmosphere where the rules dont out number the players. We think we have acomplished that. With that said we at Applied Weaponology would like to invite you to our first Modern Warfare FFA Tournament.
2) Tournament Outline The tournament will run on Sunday June 22nd 2008 @3.00pm Western time On Applied Weaponology's scrim server.The tournament will be played in FFA gamemode. All players are required to have a valid copy Call Of Duty Modern Warfare. The bottom three players from every round will be eliminated from the competetion. The remaining players will advance to the next round. This cycle will continue until we have our three winners.
3) Punkbuster The most current version of punkbuster will be active on our server. All players must ensure their machine has a current Punkbuster update. Players therefore must also ensure that they have nothing installed on their machine that will cause a Punkbuster violation.
4) communication Please ensure that your contact information is correct as this is the only means of contacting you with any changes or announcements before the tournament.
5) Time Limit All matches will have a 20 min time limit. This should be more than enough time to complete a round.
6) Starting the tournament All player will be required to be in our server 5 mins prior to tournament start time. Any player that is late will forfit his spot in slot in the server and will be replaced by standby players. After all players have indicated that they are ready,The map will be restarted and we are live!
7) Scoring The bottom 3 players from every round will be eliminated via Rcon.The remaining players will move on to the next round. This cycle will continue until we have our last three players ( Our Winners) winners will be determined by the most kills on the scoreboard,In the event of a tie the player with the lowest deaths will be determined the winner.
8) Player Conduct Please treat other players as you would like to be treated. unsportsmanlike behavior will not be tollerated. please respect Referee's at all times.
9) Cheating Cheating as described as any attempt to gain an unfair advantage over another player. This includes modifying game files,running memory resistant cheats or anything else beyond the normal scope of the game. Any player found cheating will be eliminated from the tournament.
10) Prizes/Entry Fee Prizes will be provided by Applied Weaponology Clan.There is no entry fee for this tournament.We wish to welcome you to our servers.
First Place : $50.00 gift certificate of your choice
Second Place $30.00 gift certificate of your choice
Third Place $20.00 gift certificate of your choice
11) Registration: All players must register @ www.appliedweaponology.com and complete an application with contact info to be eligible for a spot in the tournament. A minimum of 25 players is required but we should be able to supply up to 45 slots if required. Slots are on a first come basis. Gift Certificates are in cad funds.Good Luck and Good Shooting!
